The project is implemented within the cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The Research aimed at assessing JICA approach to realization of development projects in Uzbekistan in order to evaluate their effectiveness, develop further recommendations, and define prospective cooperation directions.
2. Urbanization in Central Asia: Assessing the Trends and Visioning the Future. (B.Ergashev)
The research aimed at conducting comparative analysis of urbanization policies in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan), trends and issues in urban planning, as well as developing of recommendations to find common approaches addressing urbanization issues in the region.
