"Family Assets Mobilization (FAM-2010)" survey results presented at the UNDP

On June 25, 2010 presentation of main findings of the “Family Assets Mobilization 2010” sociological survey was held in the conference room of the UNDP Country office for the UNDP programme units and projects staff.

The presentation could help to answer following questions:

• How the economic growth since 2003 and improving business climate affected the household assets?

• How to mobilize households’ assets to support economic growth and development?

• How to increase opportunities and strengthen capacities of businesses to explore and access new markets, expand productive employment and investments in human capital?

More than 20 representatives from UNDP Economic Governance Unit, Good Governance Unit, BFU, ELS, Human development, Public Finance Reform projects, as well as UNDP DRR Ms.Nato Alhazishvili took part in the presentation held in form of the UNDP Learning hour. Mr.Uktam Abdurakhmanov (Charity Fund for Aral Gene Pool Protection) and Mr.Yakov Asminkin (The Centre “Tahlil”) participated as guest speakers.

The presentation was held by the CER Senior Research coordinator I. Kamilov. All participants had an opportunity to ask their questions as well as share opinions and ideas on the given topic.
