The National Human Development Report 2005 focuses on decentralization and its impact on human development. The report is dedicated to the changes that have taken place in human development in Uzbekistan since 2001 up to 2003, assessment of the adherence to the United Nations Millennium Declaration on part of poverty alleviation, strengthening the principles of human dignity and equality, achievement of peace, democracy and sustainable development. NHDR considers the role of public administration decentralization in solving these urgent issues of the current century.
