Policy of civil socialization of young people in Uzbekistan at the present stage: new approaches

In modern society, civil socialization process is primarily the acquirement and development by young generation of the country's values, norms and cultural images. The result of such socialization will be a mature citizen who has certain political beliefs. Such a person determines own position and makes the choice, carries responsibilities behavior within own opinion about what is included in duties and rights.

A key policy challenge of civil socialization at current stage is despite increasing of importance of non-institutional factors (ICT, Internet, social networks) there is a reduction in the role of the classic civil institutions of socialization. But implemented policy of civil socialization does not focus on operation in the new environment of the information society. The impelemented methods of propaganda don't efficiently use the ICT potential in work with youth, for which the Internet has become the main source of information.

The aim of this research is to analyze the policy of civil socialization in Uzbekistan, to identify the problems and causes of low efficiency of their operations.
