The analytical review focuses on assisting the government of Uzbekistan in its urbanization and rural development initiative. The review analyzes the current rural development program, and its main challeneges, as well as stresses that due to the reduced employment opportunities in the rural areas stimulating labor migration, both external and within the country, especially the flow of labor force from rural areas to the cities.
