The One-pager is based on our recent policy paper and focuses on challenges of demographic growth and increasing shortage of water and land resources.
Urbanization is one of the challenging topics on the CER research agenda and is considered as a flagship research area for 2009-2010. We are currently working on a research project "Addressing the Shift from Rural to Urban Poverty" supported by UNDP and are planning a number of follow-up research initiatives.

The global financial architecture reform: accumulation and use of the official reserve assets in Uzbekistan with regard to the changes in the world exchange system. (2010/01)
The aim of the research is the development of recommendations on improving the effectiveness of formation and usage of reserve assets in Uzbekistan in case of strengthening negative trends of US dollar’s capacity as a world dominating reserve currency.
