The new issue of the Bulletin "Economy of Uzbekistan" for January-March 2017 reveals the dynamics, qualitative changes and trends for the first quarter of 2017. The bulletin is presented in electronic format.

The main feature of the publication is the systematic submission of information, regularly updated and affecting the most important problems of socio-economic development of Uzbekistan.

The authors are very grateful for the information support provided to the ministries and departments of the country, especially the State Statistics Committee, as well as to the staff of the Center for Economic
Research, whose help and advice have made an invaluable contribution to the preparation of this issue.
The information and analytical bulletin has been prepared with the support of the representative office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Uzbekistan.
