The Policy Brief explores the optimal ways of economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan in the context of improving implementation of joint transport communication projects.

The research also considers not less important issues, which may influence bilateral cooperation, such as (i) Review of military-political situation in the country and analysis of geopolitical and geo-economic interests of external actors, (ii) socio-economic situation in Afghanistan and the main directions of the Uzbek-Afghan economic partnership, including problems and prospects of transport and transit cooperation between two countries.
